Microsoft Security Essentials v4 — по функциональности похож на стандартный инструмент Windows Defender. Программа в автоматическом режиме загружает новые антивирусные базы, это происходит до трех раз в сутки, если будет желание то вы сами можете загружать обновления без программы. если не менять настроек по умолчанию, то все архивные файлы будут распаковываться, сканироваться и затем вы сможете с ними работать, то есть понятно, что идет уже замедление. Вся электронная поста и файлы которые вы загружаете, также будут автоматически проверятся. Microsoft Security Essentials дает вам подсказки, прежде чем вы примите решение по найденным файлам, то есть вы сможете их оставить или удалить, если верить официальному сайту, то Microsoft Security Essentials работает в режиме реального времени, плюс она очень мало ест оперативной памяти, а трафика потребляет всего 4 МБ в сутки. если верить Википедии, то продукт получил даже несколько наград, вроде как успешно борется с вирусами, в общем для меня разработка все равно немного сомнительна, но а вы можете решить сам, нужно оно вам или нет, мое дело предложить. Добавить про Microsoft Security Essentials мне нечего, надеюсь программа поможет вам не поймать вирус.
